Preparation of an Emission Permit Application
- General Information on the Emission Source
Collection of general data about the facility or business, including name, location, area of activity, and emission source description.
Details are also provided on the types of industrial processes, the nature of the emitted substances, and their quantities. - Process Survey
A detailed description of all industrial processes, from raw material input to final product.
This includes information on energy, chemical, and water use, and the types of waste generated at each stage, in accordance with the Ministry of Environmental Protection guidelines. - Emission Survey
Identification and quantification of all emission sources within the facility.
Measurements or calculations are performed to determine the exact quantities emitted, the emission frequency, and operating conditions. - BAT Gap Analysis
Comparison of the facility’s current production and emission-control technologies with the Best Available Techniques (BAT).
Identification of gaps and development of a corrective action plan to meet BAT standards. - Action Plan for BAT Implementation and Emission Reduction
Based on the gap analysis results, a detailed plan is prepared for BAT implementation, including timelines, budgets, and practical steps for improving processes and reducing emissions. - Environmental Survey for Air Pollutants
Evaluation of the impact of emissions on the environment and public health.
Includes risk assessments and mitigation measures to minimize negative impacts. - Environmental Survey for Wastewater Pollutants
In cases where air and wastewater pollutants are interrelated, a comprehensive wastewater survey is conducted.
This includes reviewing treatment processes and preventive measures against water contamination. - Submission to the Ministry of Environmental Protection
After all surveys and documents are completed, the full application is submitted to the Ministry.
The application is reviewed by experts, and comments or improvement requests may be issued.
Once all requirements are met, the facility receives its emission permit, allowing continued operation in compliance with air quality and environmental standards.
